Our chef creates a specially crafted daily menu, served in a welcoming dining room, giving residents a chance to enjoy each other's company while savouring a wide variety of home-cooked dishes.
Engaging Activities
Our varied program of activities includes a community coffee morning, talks, and performances from the local school children and much more, ensuring every resident has opportunities for enrichment and social engagement.
” I am proud to be the Manager at The Laurels in Norton, a residential and respite home that is a prominent part of the village. We love to encourage connections with the local community and invite villagers to join our residents at our weekly coffee morning and often receive visits from the local primary school.
My career in care spans 35 years, from volunteering at a local hospital at 14 to qualifying as a nurse five years later before finding my true passion in the care of the elderly. For the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of managing care homes, and for the past two years, I’ve proudly served as Manager for Trust Care.
The most rewarding aspect of my job is seeing the smiles on our residents’ faces, knowing they are happy and well cared for by our amazing staff. It’s truly an honour to be part of their lives and to create a nurturing environment where they can enjoy life to their full potential. “
