Trust Care is delighted to celebrate the achievements of three outstanding members of the Holly Tree Lodge care home team in Shafton, Barnsley, who were recognised at this year’s Great British Care Awards, Yorkshire and Humber region.

Home Manager Kasia Szatowska took home the Registered Manager (Care Home) Award, while Anna Makowska, Deputy Manager, and Emma Hannan, Activities Coordinator, were both proud finalists in their respective categories for Palliative Care and Activities.

The Great British Care Awards are among the most respected accolades in the care sector, shining a light on individuals who go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and support for others.

Kasia’s win recognises her dedication, leadership and the compassionate environment she has cultivated at Holly Tree Lodge. Her team’s recognition across three categories highlights the home’s commitment to excellence and its strong, supportive culture.

“We’re incredibly proud of Kasia, Anna and Emma for representing Trust Care at such a prestigious event,” said Steven Wilson, Managing Director at Trust Care Ltd. “Their commitment to residents and the standards they uphold each day reflect exactly what Trust Care strives for across all our homes.”

The evening was a wonderful celebration of the care community and a proud moment for everyone connected to Holly Tree Lodge and Trust Care as a whole.

Kasia will now go on to represent Trust Care in The National Great British Care Awards.
